Good afternoon Pulaski County
It looks like it is going to be another active weather weekend for us here across the county, especially Sunday evening and night. The National Weather Services in both Louisville and Jackson KY are predicting severe storms beginning early Sunday evening into Monday morning. These storms can bring flooding downpours, hail, and damaging wind gusts. There will also be an slightly increased risk of tornadoes as the storms progress across the county. Please watch this page, and keep local weather media on into Monday morning. These storms may also affect the power grid, leaving some of you without power for several hours or longer.  As always, please make sure to have emergency supplies for at least three days including required medications.  Scroll further down the page for the article in COMPASS Magazine that discusses what should be in an emergency kit.
                                                                                                 Stay safe out there.
